Function This individual is responsible for providing advice and counsel on a variety of legal matters involving the HSA Bank division of Webster Bank, N.A. Responsibilities: *Draft, review, revise, negotiate a variety of instruments involving the business of Health Savings Accounts, and Flexible Spending Accounts, including employer agreements, alliance agreements with health plans and third party administrators, technology integration agreements, and other platform agreements. *Work with representatives from various departments on developing and modifying practices and procedures to conform to legal and regulatory requirements. *Keep informed of legislation affecting various operations impacting the Corporation and its Subsidiaries. *Act as a liaison with outside legal firms, and legal contact for industry trade groups. *Perform legal research under the direction of the Deputy General Counsel. *Perform such other duties as assigned by the Deputy General Counsel. Requirements: *Graduate of an accredited law school. *Licensed attorney in Wisconsin - additional licensure preferred. *Has at least 5 years experience in commercial/transactional practice (in-house or law firm). *Has strong organizational skills and is able to handle and prioritize multiple tasks under tight deadlines. *Exercises good judgment. *Possess effective communication skills (written and verbal). *Is able to deal with all levels of management in a professional and tactful manner. *Has a background in health services and/or ERISA. *Proficiency with Windows/ Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint
