Job Summary:
We’re seeking a highly organized, detail-driven Content Marketing Manager to join our Marketing Team. This role is critical in shaping and safeguarding the voice of the bank across all client-facing materials. The ideal candidate is a strong writer and editor with experience managing cross-functional content projects, ensuring regulatory compliance, and upholding both brand and client-specific standards.
This person will be responsible for managing the content production process from project scoping through final approval, serving as the gatekeeper for all outbound content. You'll collaborate closely with internal stakeholders across marketing, legal, compliance, and client service teams to ensure all communications meet style, accuracy, and approval standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Style Guide Management: Maintain and evolve the company’s editorial style guide, ensuring consistency in tone, grammar, formatting, and messaging across all channels. Train colleagues on our style guide. Manage AP Stylebook subscription and team access.
Client Standards Enforcement: Ensure all communications adhere to individual client brand guidelines or regulatory requirements where applicable.
Quality Assurance: Maintain quality assurance and process documentation for the content team. Review and proofread content for grammatical accuracy, clarity, and brand alignment with an exceptional eye for detail.
Content Review & Approval: Provide editorial oversight and final marketing sign-off for external-facing content, including emails, web content, customer communications and materials, presentations and more.
Project Scoping & Coordination: Scope new content initiatives, define project timelines, and align stakeholders to ensure on-time and accurate content delivery.
Content Development: Assist with writing and editing original content.
Content Planning: Maintain content calendar to ensure timely planning, coordination and publication of content across multiple channels.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Serve as the content liaison with internal partners (marketing, legal, compliance, product, sales, etc.) to gather requirements and secure approvals.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, Communications, or related field.
8+ years of experience in content strategy, editorial, or marketing communications-preferably within financial services or another highly regulated industry.
Impeccable grammar, spelling, and attention to detail.
Proven ability to manage multiple content projects simultaneously with strong organizational skills.
Experience managing or contributing to an editorial style guide.
Comfort working with legal/compliance review processes.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams.
Computer proficiency in Adobe Acrobat Pro and Microsoft Office Suite programs, i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
The estimated salary range for this position is $84,000USD to $94,000USD. Actual salary may vary up or down depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position is eligible for incentive compensation.
