Job Summary:

Executive RM (ERM) is responsible for managing the account growth, balance growth, retention and satisfaction of clients through HSA Bank’s premier partner as well as the ERM’s own book of business comprised of 20+ employers.  This will be accomplished with the partner by building deep relationships with the product team and field personnel responsible for sales and customer service. This will be accomplished within their book by providing best practices and insights that are implemented by the employer as well as providing onsite (premier clients only) and virtual education sessions with employees.  Key activities will include leading recurring strategy calls with the partner’s product team, service team and key HSA Bank personnel and be focused on sales and utilization trends of the HSA Bank products. This position requires frequent travel to engage with the partner product team and regional sales offices to review progress, establish new objectives, provide insights and conduct training sessions. The candidate will also manage/oversee lower-level individuals and/or external vendors as the overall partner program matures.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead monthly/quarterly strategic calls with the partner to review sales trends, product utilization, in-flight opportunities, At Risk employers, marketing and collateral needs of the partner and premier employers and general account and deposit growth objectives.

  • Identify and maintain frequent and consistent interactions with regional sales contacts. The objective of these contacts is to provide compelling reasons for recommending HSA Bank products, industry insight, partner specific insight, best practices, and other information that will lead to HSA Bank being the HSA solution for their clients.

  • Analyze national, regional and client-specific sales trends and product utilization.  Identify, recommend and implement strategies to maximize profitable account and deposit growth for the partner’s clients and your assigned book.

  • Have a strong pulse on the partner organization, leadership, organizational change initiatives, and strategic plans so we can leverage those insights in a manner that will lead to profitable partner growth.

  • Effectively train HSA Bank members on the partner and large groups to expand bank-wide knowledge.

  • Work closely with HSA Bank marketing team to develop specific strategies for the partner including the creation and maintenance of marketing collateral, tools, and communication.

  • Work closely with the HSA Bank Partner Services team to understand our integrations and be aware of ongoing enhancements, changes, and issues that arise as well as how they are impacting the partner and their clients.

  • Build trusted relationships with client executives of assigned book by engaging frequently, providing insights and industry best practices, recommending communication and education plans and being responsive to their needs.

  • Engage with the partner Consumer Account Specialist (CAS), Client Manager (CM) or Engagement Specialist when formulating plans with assigned employers.

  • Engage CAS when service issues arise for assigned and unassigned employers.

  • Facilitate strategic planning session with benefits executives of assigned book.

  • Work with CAS or CM to cover in-person open enrollment sessions and benefit fairs while personally attending these sessions/fairs for premier clients.

  • Provide or coordinate virtual and onsite product training to premier clients to ensure effective utilization of the HSA product.

  • Create and execute specific business plan for assigned clients to grow accounts and deposits through education and communication.

  • Achieve Partner account, deposit, and revenue growth goals as well as attain goals for assigned book.

  • Maintain all interactions, Partner contacts, Partner characteristics, opportunities, and other information as requested in Salesforce.

  • Manage travel and expense budget.

Position Requirements:

  • College degree preferred

  • 7-10 years advanced experience working with health care plans or as a benefit consultant representing health plans

  • Experience using Salesforce and all Microsoft Office products

  • Must be able to travel nationally up to 8-10 times a year

The estimated salary range for this position is $130,00USD to $170,000USD. Actual salary may vary up or down depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position is eligible for incentive compensation.
