Job Summary:

What You'll Do

As an Email Marketing Specialist, you'll execute campaigns and contribute to campaign strategy as a member of HSA Bank’s Channel Marketing Team. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including building data extensions, building and deploying emails in Email Studio, and building journeys in Journey Builder.

HSA Bank’s email marketing program is designed to engage, educate, and empower customers by providing timely and relevant information about HSA and other consumer directed health care accounts and their benefits. Through strategic campaigns, we aim to drive account utilization, increase customer satisfaction, and support long-term financial wellness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build accurate and precise emails in Salesforce Marketing Cloud utilizing content and designs provided by our creative & content teams.

  • Build/manage recipient segmentation using both flat files and data extensions, including standard and filtered data extensions.

  • Incorporate personalization and dynamic content into messaging.

  • Track and communicate results, success metrics and recommendations for optimization.

  • Execute A/B testing and contribute to test planning strategies when appropriate.

  • Maintain adherence to project plan and task management with attention to detail and laser focus on meeting deadlines.

  • Develop cross functional relationships with Marketing and other team members to support broader initiatives and participate in/lead other projects as assigned.

  • Support Channel Team operations through calendar management, managing group mailboxes, and other related tasks.

  • Future duties as assigned. May include supporting other channels (paid social, display, SMS, etc.). Training will be provided, no prior experience required.

Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience.

  • Domestic travel required 1-2 times per year.

  • Reside in Eastern or Central time zone required.

  • 2-3 years of hands-on experience building and executing emails with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, utilizing Email Studio and Journey Builder.

  • Strong understanding of email marketing best practices and email concept creation.

  • Self-motivated problem solver with acute attention to detail.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

  • Growth-oriented mindset and willingness to learn new technologies.

  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Inquisitive, strong analytical skills, including the ability to infer and apply learnings.

  • Banking and Healthcare industry verticals are a plus, and experience working with multiple customer use-cases - both B2B and B2C - preferred.

  • Experience with HTML/CSS, AMPscript, SQL, Adobe Workfront - optional but beneficial.

The estimated salary range for this position is $75,000USD to $85,000USD. Actual salary may vary up or down depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position is eligible for incentive compensation.
