Job Summary:

The Sales Analytic Manager oversees the daily operations of the Sales Analyst team, supporting key business units including Sales, Relationship Management, Strategic Partnerships, and Growth Operations. This role ensures the delivery of timely and accurate analysis to inform strategic decision-making, monitor performance metrics, and uncover growth opportunities. The idea candidate will leverage both traditional and modern data analytics tools and methodologies, including emerging technologies in data visualization, predictive analytics, business intelligence platforms, and artificial intelligence platforms. The Sales Analytic Manager also acts as a strategic partner to the Director of Sales, Director of Relationship Management and Chief Revenue Officer, providing leadership on data-driven initiatives while managing team workflows, incentive programs, and cross-functional reporting.

Responsibilities for this role include:

  • Lead and manage the Sales Analyst team, including day-to-day operations and oversight of team member performance and development. This role directly manages one (1) Sales Analyst.

  • Lead initiatives to assess and recommend adoption of sales and growth emerging analytics technologies and methods.

  • Serve as a hands-on analyst, balancing leadership responsibilities with individual project execution.

  • Ensure data quality through collection, organization, and ongoing cleanup activities across multiple systems and data sources.

  • Manage all aspects of pipeline tracking and visual analysis while developing win/loss insights.

  • Track sales budgets and operational metrics using advanced analytics tools and dashboards.

  • Oversee the full cycle of sales incentive programs, including calculation validation and executive sign-off.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet regulatory, compliance, and audit requirements.

  • Develop and optimize scalable reporting processes, with a focus on sales pipeline accuracy and performance trends.

  • Utilize modern BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar to deliver interactive, insightful reporting to stakeholders.

  • Explore predictive and prescriptive analytics techniques to identify future opportunities and risks.

  • Generate reports using CRM and multi-system reporting tools.

  • Facilitate requirements-gathering sessions and translate business needs into actionable reporting.

  • Identify, document, and communicate system/process defects and improvement opportunities.

  • Participate in strategic planning and leadership meetings, offering analytical insight and actionable recommendations.

  • Coach and mentor analysts, promoting continued learning in advanced analytics and BI tools.

  • Act as a liaison to executive leadership on all data-related projects and strategic initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Data Analytics, or Finance preferred.

  • Experience: 5+ years of relevant experience in data analysis, quality monitoring, or business intelligence.

  • Previous experience in team leadership or people management strongly preferred.

  • Exposure to the healthcare or health benefits industry is a plus.

Hard Skills/Knowledge:

  • Advanced MS Excel skills required.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).

  • Experience in evaluating, designing and deploying sales technologies that drive revenue growth, improve seller effectiveness, and advance GTM strategies and business objectives.

  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce or similar CRM systems.

  • Experience managing incentive programs across multiple teams.

  • Strong knowledge of Tableau, Power BI, or other modern data visualization tools.

  • Exposure to diverse sales enablement strategies and modern sales performance practices.

  • Awareness of advanced analytics techniques including predictive modeling, regression analysis, or machine learning concepts.

  • Maintains confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive information.

  • Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities and lead by example in a fast-paced environment.

The estimated salary range for this position is $90,000USD to $100.000USD. Actual salary may vary up or down depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position is eligible for incentive compensation.
