The HSA Bank Product Management team is responsible for collaborating with all key HSA Bank stakeholders and working with cross-functional teams to ensure the highest quality product delivery to our health plan partners, 2.7M+ accountholders and over 35,000 employers across the country. We are looking for a Product Manager with experience managing investment related product solutions for the 401k, brokerage or HSA industries that can help manage and grow a key part of the HSA Bank product experience.

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Ownership of the investment product offering, consumer experience, investment roadmap, and associated P&L
  • Development, validation and execution of long term strategic plan for investment product offering including ability to conduct market research, define requirements, develop and bring to market tools/features that further differentiate HSA Bank in the marketplace
  • Ability to provide leadership and management over broker-dealer operations
  • Identify and create operational process improvements and coordinate with key leaders throughout the Enterprise
  • Responsible to effectively manage vendor, internal and strategic partner relationships in an effort to provide technology solutions that make it easy to do business with HSA Bank
  • Ongoing analysis to optimize investment related revenue
  • Provide guidance to the Operations team in resolving issues when needed.
  • Chief facilitator and member of investment committee responsible for providing governance and oversight of program, actively participating in all meetings and assisting the committee in decisions by providing research, analysis, and recommendations
  • Strong participation in all Requests for Proposal (RFP), Request for Information (RFI) and strategic sales opportunities related to investments
  • Regulatory oversight of all investment related activities in partnership with Legal and Compliance
  • Assist the SVP of Product and Bank President with special projects

 

Background/Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in RIA and Brokerage Operations, with at least 5 years management experience
  • HSA and/or 401k market expertise is a plus
  • Must have extensive knowledge of all investment products, including Mutual Funds, EFTs,
  • Educated to BS/BA level.
  • Securities licenses preferred but not required: Series 7, 63, 65, 66, 99
  • Experience integrating investment platforms with related systems
  • Experience in building, developing and managing advisory platforms
  • Proficient with analytical and presentation tools, including Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to manage stakeholders with compassion, confidence and exceptional clarity with regards to the product strategy and overall mission for our customers
  • Must have a sense of urgency and enthusiasm in developing a best in class product
  • Meticulous attention to detail
